I hate to write reviews but I have to say I was very impressed with this duvet. I live in Phoenix so finding a good comforter that is warm but not too warm is not easy as you will be sweating in the middle of the night. I looked through 3 different ones before I found this one. If you can afford the cost, you can buy something with down feathers. The reason I say this is because the other "alternatives" are very polyester and you'll end up sweating and never feel like using them. In addition, most of these fabrics are not breathable, making the night uncomfortable. Let's get back to that. It's very fluffy but light enough not to weigh you down while you sleep. It seriously keeps me at the perfect temperature and when I get hot I just stretch out a leg and the problem is solved. It is of very good quality and the diagonal stitching on it makes a big difference. I bought this thinking I would tuck it into a duvet but I love the way and the feel so much I use it alone and it complements the style of my room with that white clean feel. I would 100% recommend this blanket. I haven't washed it yet but when I do I will use tennis balls to keep it fluffy! PS, photo from the first day of unpacking, now it looks even more beautiful and fluffy!
