I have many microfiber towels and I had a rough idea of what these sheets would look like. I envisioned some sort of flannel sheet and figured we might save them for cooler days when cozy sheets come in handy. However, when we received them, I was surprised to find that they were made from an ultra-thin, knit-like material instead. It was very stretchy and they were quite large for a queen size bed. Both my husband and I don't particularly like the sheets. To be honest, the word we came up with was "slimy". I imagine someone who loves silk or satin bedding might like the feel. However, I don't think we would buy them again. There's something special about crawling into bed in summer and feeling that crisp cotton texture that cools and refreshes. With these sheets you will never get that feeling. On the other hand, if you like the "silky" texture, go ahead! These look well made.
