Review on 🔍 EVICIV Raspberry Touchscreen Ultra Wide 178°Multi Point 1920X1280P Portable Monitor: Ideal Gaming Monitor for Xbox, IPS Display, HDMI Connectivity by Christopher Meyer

High quality monitor not only for Raspberry Pi, but also for other purposes

I originally ordered this to have a touchscreen for use with a Raspberry Pi recipe app I wanted to install in my kitchen to avoid having cookbooks lying around and taking up counter space. But I haven't had enough Raspberry Pis (temporarily) and I have a Lenovo laptop with a broken screen. I figured this would be a good way to at least update Windows without having to use a full size monitor to update every time. I was also able to test the operation of the touchscreen. Firstly, it comes with all the necessary cables and a power adapter which should be used to power the display - the display can be powered from the computer. if you have an extra USB-C port, but it's probably better to use a PD adapter instead, as the power output may not be enough depending on usage. Everything worked fine, although the case/lid is a bit fiddly. to figure out how to get the desired angle. One of the lids appears to have adjustable magnetic corners - and it probably does, but it's more complicated than it should be due to the placement of the magnets. I finally connected it to my Lenovo laptop with a broken display and was able to log in and use the touchscreen to install the latest Windows 10 updates. I still have to fix the display at Lenovo, but at the moment this solution is not very elegant. but still works fine for what I need right now. I see it would be great for a Raspberry Pi implementation. and it has a very clear and sharp image. It's only 12 inches, but it's perfect for the project I had in mind. The build quality and the inclusion of 4 possible cables that should work in most scenarios is a big plus. You can adjust the display settings using some of the buttons on the side of the monitor. The only downside is that the monitor doesn't have a battery, so it can power itself without needing to power the device or a PD adapter. The manual makes it very clear that you should always use a PD adapter if possible, even if the device is to work with a mains switch. Install a dual-display laptop that fits in your bag without too much trouble since its screen is lightweight at just 12 inches. Solid five star product.
