Unfortunately, this device didn't find my pet's chip
Unfortunately, this little device couldn't find my pet's chip (10-digit, standard chip). I tried repeatedly but it never worked. I returned this one, bought the next model from a competitor and after charging found my pet's chip on the first pass. It seems that after reading some other reviews you either get a scanner that works really well or in my case one that doesn't work at all. The unit I bought was an upgrade (about $20 more) and I plan to use it on friendly stray animals to try and get them home.
