Review on Honeywell Home MicroDefense Furnace Filter by John Bones

Very disappointed with this purchase. I bought a Honeywell CF 100A1025 4.5" Heavy Duty Air Filter for my gas oven because I made the mistake of trusting the "Specifications" that are clearly stated in the description of the filter. namely that its actual dimensions have been reported as 24.9 x 18.8 x 4.4 inches. What I received was essentially a 20 x 25 x 4.5 inch filter. not 18.8 width as advertised. I ended up having to use a razor to tweak/cut the filter to fit, which was a tedious and somewhat bloody operation. I needed to put the filter back in my oven asap and wasn't sure if it would make sense to return it for the exact replacement that was advertised. I've already spent 90 minutes going through the Revain listings to find one whose stated and advertised size was wrong.
