Using this adapter with IBM P260. This is the fourth HDMI to VGA adapter I've tried in search of an adapter that can unlock the full potential of my monitor. It was the only adapter that could run 1600 x 1200 at 85 Hz and 1920 x 1440 at 70 Hz without artifacts. I used the NVIDIA Control Panel to create these as custom permissions since they weren't listed in the Windows display settings by default. It still can't drive my monitor at max resolution and 1920 x 1440 refresh rate at 80Hz, but it's still the best HDMI to VGA adapter I've ever used. The design of the adapter, which is an HDMI female and a VGA male, is original in that it allows digital to analogue conversion on the display side, while the ability to output an analogue signal along the length of the cable is restricted.
