Much easier than building your own with hinges and props. Alignment on the wall was also very easy. I used 1/2" plywood to make the top and planned to use M6 Phillips screws to hold the wood in place, with washers to make the screw more flush, the M6 should be great for that Hole in the brackets and being even further away the brackets slide over the groove which if you use bolts will catch them and make it impossible to close them (I'll buy shorter bolts and try flushing the nut on top I recommend (to only use screws short enough to not go through the top).- Next I came across that if the brackets aren't perfectly horizontal to each other when opened and mounted on top, the slots, that should be aligned fit into each other so they don't close completely .- It doesn't close quite vertically, even when installing everything done perfectly The trigger sticks out a little and touches the wall sod as he can't run flush.- Overall very good product for the money, haven't checked the weight capacity. y and still, but a lot of that is determined by the material of the top and the hardware used to mount it all.
