I ordered these for both of my tanks before my 8 day holiday to make sure my fish didn't starve. The hardest part was adjusting the amount of feed dispensed. I practiced by placing the feeder on a paper plate and pressing the button to see how much food was released. I found setting the dial to the very first mark highlighted too much food, but there was a big difference halfway through the first mark. So don't think that you can customize the watch face just by the markers. At first one of the feeders was correctly aligned with the lid, but then it started spilling food onto the lid. Since I used the velcro option on this tank, I was able to adjust it a bit. Overall I am very happy with this feeder. UPDATE: Moisture from my large tank is causing the feed to not come out and there is no other place to attach the feeder so this is an issue.
