Waterproof? Maybe watch the downpour from home. Just don't expect them to last long when splattered. The photo shows water on the inside of the screen after the radios were taken outside. They say they are waterproof but I got splashed a bit with a kayak paddle and the Cobra turned into e-waste on the first ride. So now I have a radio. Just as useful and inexpensive as shoes.
