Review on Turtle Reptile Haven by Lisa Farley

I hate leaving bad reviews but be careful when you buy this product! Was looking for a natural looking hiding place for my little carpet python. She enjoys going in and out and usually sleeps upstairs and warms up in a heat lamp. I place the hut under the lamp at a distance of about two feet. The range is from 85 to 90 degrees during the day and about 70 to 75 degrees at night. Aquarium moderately/very humid, exo-terra rs400 used. It started cracking about a month after buying it. Thinking it was because of the heat lamp, we put it on the other side of the tank. However, it continued to rumble. So I also got it out of the way of the mist system thinking it was the water that damaged it but. it keeps cracking until large chunks of the outside fall into the empty space between the bottom and top layers of plastic. Very upset. I had to throw it away as the plastic turned out to be a sharp and unsafe kite for me.
