I was looking for something to hang reference posters for pianos and guitars. I found the perfect solution with this fantastic background stand with extra support. I am not currently using this stand for its intended purpose but will also use it to hang my smaller projection screen when installing in the back bedroom. As far as hanging goes, I'm very happy with it. It is very easy to assemble and the user has room for creativity. By that I mean you don't have to use every detail to create a custom one. I found that I didn't want to use a third metal rod that runs down the middle. It would be too wide for the living room of my apartment, where it is used most of the time. If I leave one of the crossbars I can set them aside for later use. I know I'll be installing this outside of a passing night of entertainment, so I'll keep this extra bar somewhere easy to access. There are two hanging pockets used for weighting to stabilize the two end legs which are tripod design. The kit comes with four large clips that came in very handy when I attached the reference posters that I hung on the crossbar. I like that there is an extension in the middle of the two main parts of the tripod. I managed to increase the height to about four feet, which is as intended, so I'm happy. Adjustment of the tripod legs and extension pole is made possible by easy-to-use round handwheels. Installation was very quick, assembly took about five to six minutes. In summary, I am very happy with this backdrop set and recommend it for both photography and hanging as I use it.
