Review on 🎨 Strathmore 365-9 300 Series Palette Pad: White, 9"x12", 40 Sheets - For Artists & Creative Projects by Kristen Reid

After being an untrained amateur digital artist for almost 10 years, I recently decided to put down my pen for a while and make art with physical media. Acrylic, watercolor and oil are just some of the mediums I've tried. As another hobby I own, operate and maintain a few 3D printers and have also designed and 3D printed some of my own pallets. The palettes match my watercolors, but I had trouble mixing colors on my palettes. Also, my 3D printed palettes are difficult to clean with acrylics and almost impossible with oils. When I was watching an online video how to paint, I saw that this palette paper was used and I thought BINGO! This paper is great for me! I've heard you can also use baking sheets and I might check that out in the future as it's probably cheaper. But I really like that I can just rip a page out of this notebook and start coloring it in. When I'm done, I can just drop the paper. I have a small desk that I use for creative work, so space is a bit pricey. These pages are still small enough that I can keep one next to my canvas while still leaving room to apply several different paints and mix them in different dilutions. I suppose you could delete them, but I haven't tried that and probably won. 't. I roughly "reused" some sheets of paper with acrylic paint. I simply applied as much acrylic paint as I could to the paper, let it dry, and then applied some more paint over the dried paint, making sure the colors matched the location. It worked fine a couple of times and one of those leaves got a little more life. I am very happy with these sheets and feel they have helped me with my art by giving me control over my color.
