So far these knives are great, most likely they will last forever and never need to be replaced as nice and sharp blades just the right thickness (caliber) I used food grade oil designed for chopping boards and other stuff the handles, and it brought out the beautiful color of the wood. So far I have only hand washed them until there is no more rust and finally the scissors are the best I have ever had in a knife set but they are very comfortable to use, cutting paper and steak as well as trimming rose stems in no time.
