Review on πŸ”‹ Greenlee 60A 3 Stubby Auger 4 Inch: Compact, Powerful and Versatile Drilling Tool by Antonio Urbina

Revainrating 5 out of 5

We broke it but it still deserves 5 stars (husband loves it)

old and very hard floor joists. They worked fantastically. The feed mechanism worked great and my husband was amazed at how quickly the job was done. Now for the part where we managed to break the 7/8 inch snail. My husband used the 7/8" slug at an angle due to the tight space it landed in on the wall. I'm not exactly sure what happened - something to do with grunt grunts, but the bit got stuck in the wood. This turns out to be very, very bad, since the snail cannot be flipped. If you think about it, this makes sense. Self-closing, large diameter = mess. With an unsuccessful reverse gear, I tried it with pliers. This will bend the shaft. He ended up hitting the tree with his fist, but not before the drill was destroyed. So, lessons learned :::> Don't let the bit stop once it's in the woods and get as close to the surface as possible at 90%. We managed to break this one but my husband liked it so much he said he bought another in a split second. Works very well.
