Review on Bessey BVMPV5 Versatile Vise by John Bailey

I bought this and immediately managed to bend the shaft on the threads. The design of this component isn't terrible, but the tolerances on its support structure are TERRIBLE and it fully conforms to the specified design. enough to make the screw hard to turn. After removal, I see stress fractures, so the vise is not safe to use. I'm looking for parts at the moment, but I'm having problems. I bought these from another seller.
