Review on 2 Pack Battery Powered Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors with Test/Reset Button by Jeffrey Connel

A few years ago I found and repaired a furnace exhaust leak that I wouldn't have known about had the carbon monoxide detector in my basement not been making a noise a few of times. The first time I thought the detector had failed. I got a message when he left. Maybe it saved our lives. These units seemed good, but I returned them after unpacking and learning that they cannot be used in a basement or garage. Maybe that's a good thing and means they're very delicate, so don't let me stop you from buying this product if you plan on using them in other rooms. Understandably I want one in the basement and love the idea of adding one in the garage so I returned them for a product designed for the above.
