These jacks replaced my 2000 struts on my Chevrolet Tahoe. It's amazing how well they work. I literally take them out of the box and install them. It is so easy. All you need is a flathead screwdriver to remove the old overhead supports. Make sure the hydraulic side is up and push it back into place. I used a 70" x 2" piece of plywood as a dead man to hold the gate up when I removed the old supports, but a broomstick will work. Make sure you prop it up, or at least have someone hold the gate. because it may fall on your head and cause damage. Less than $25.00. This is incredible value for a good replacement product.
