Review on Calix Cloud by Chris Pettway

I like that it works with any device, which makes me feel less limited in what devices i can use to control my home automation system (as well as many other smart products). It would be nice if you could configure your own apps/widgets for each product rather than just being stuck using whatever comes pre-installed from caliX itself or their partners - maybe even build some yourself? Using Home Assistant through an API gateway gives us more flexibility when we want something custom built instead of having everything tied into one interface provided by our service providers.
