I have a Rubicon HardRock from 2015. The first wow was the installation. On my jeep the connector is on the gas pedal assembly and doesn't have a wire to go there. The installation took me about an hour. The first tricky part was unplugging it. I removed the plate under the handlebars, this didn't help get to the fork but helped see where the throttle fork was. Then I had to stick a small flathead screwdriver into the connector and it came off. The trickier part was fitting the new connector back into the pedal assembly port. There isn't much space to work in there, be careful as there are sharp edges. Yes, blood was drawn, a small cut on the thumb. After all that, I finally installed it. phew Yes, I had to fiddle around a bit to connect the plugs. I checked all settings and they definitely work as described. In case you didn't know, this little thing works by increasing the electronic signal for the accelerator pedal. It feels like you have a lot more horsepower, but it just makes the pedal feel more responsive. I will definitely tell my Jeep friends about it. And it works! Take it, you won't be disappointed!
