Maybe I should have replaced the head more often, but I never felt like I really needed it. The only time I replaced them was when they got too rough. They never fell apart at all (only used when needed for maybe a few meals a day. Not fully for everyday dishwashing). I ran out of heads today so I went in search of a replacement. That's when I realized it had been almost a year with those things! I couldn't believe how long they lasted, especially for the price! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a more sustainable way of washing dishes. AGAIN I would like to add I don't know how they stand up to daily dishwashing but in my experience they work very well.
