I repaired my shower myself because the installers wanted to charge a fee. I found them while looking for other tiling tools and decided to give them a try. I saw several videos with such products and because of the good rating I decided to try them. They work great, but there are a few things to watch out for when using them. 1. Whatever you do, keep the hoodset away from you. If a thin layer lands around the gasket, it won't come off properly and will leave a tab that you'll have to cut out. It can be easily removed with a sharp utility knife, although a thin layer must then be cut out. Apparently it was an installation error because there was too much flimsy set, but you can't just wipe it off when it's in the tile like it's not there. 2. The size of the gap is also not exact, and you must be careful to press the tiles firmly together when tightening, as they will move apart even if you press the wedge in the right direction. I had 3 that failed when using the . No big deal and there were no problems. In general, I'm very happy with them and the results they deliver.
