Great for sandpaper - Also great for removing watercolor masking fluid (frisket)

I've used this type of wand on sandpaper belts and discs for years - it's very good for cleaning those belts. I bought this because my wife is interested in watercolor painting. Watercolor artists use masking fluid (frisket) to mask parts of the work and then use an eraser to erase it from the paper. Painters use hand and foot for small crepe rubber erasers. (Seriously - $4 each, maybe 50mm x 50mm x 10mm thick) I thought - wait a minute - it looks like a sanding belt cleaning stick. My wife tried masking fluid on a piece cut from an old eraser and it worked well. but this stick is probably 15 years old and starting to harden a bit. So I bought a new one from Peachtree which arrived today - it's fresh new crepe gum and therefore feels "stickier" than the old one. I cut off a piece of this for the woman to use in her watercolor work (use a very sharp chisel as it's difficult to cut and make sure your fingers don't get in the way). after an expert has tested it. (This will save me a lot of money - I know) The rest, I know, will be a great sandpaper cleaner. paper too.
