Review on πŸš— Dorman Fuel Level Sensor 911-048 for Hyundai: Enhanced SEO-specific Model Selection by Joshua Turner

Buyers beware - they might not work!

I am a used car dealer. I bought Dorman 911-048 fuel gauges for a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe because Dorman products are usually good and cheaper than OEM from a franchised dealer. My mechanic installed two of these, but the fuel gauge still didn't work and continued to trigger OBD code P0267. I took it to the Hyundai dealer, they checked the sensors and said they weren't working. I bought 2 OEM Hyundai sensors and my mechanic replaced the Dorman sensors and they worked as they should. The fuel level sensor is working and the OBD code did not show up again. I wanted to return Dorman's sensors, but Revane says it's been 10 days since I've been able to return them. I recommend buying genuine parts as I now have a set of useless sensors that I cannot return and I had to pay twice to install them.
