The scans are fine but when you have some loose single negatives it is very difficult to hold them in the holder at all and the holders are difficult to open and close. Much less hassle with slides or whole strips of negatives. The problem is exacerbated with single 120 negatives. I actually try to work with slide mounts for my loose negatives, maybe without permanently mounting the negatives in them. There is also a small problem with the files on my computer, but to be honest it could be my fault or the fault of my software. Anyway, I had a lot of trouble finding scans on my computer and when I found them I couldn't find any information like file size. At first glance, the scanner appears to be scanning at a much lower resolution than advertised. Later, I can add more information to this rating and change my rating up or down. Additions. I ended up having to send it back after trying to use it for a few days. It's just difficult to work with single negatives or even strips of negatives less than 4 frames long. The scan is fine, sufficient enough that I wouldn't return it for it, but the media is just too much of a problem when you need to scan a lot.
