I know most people are using this for dogs, but I have two cats (short hairs) that I try to bath relatively regularly, but don't like letting them wander around the house wet and cold; especially during the winter. This blow-dryer has been great for that, but it's been a learning curve. The airflow is very fast and rough, which is great for long hair coats, but not so great for short hair coats. The nozzle attachments make it worse too, so I have to put it on the lowest airflow with no nozzles so that it's not too loud or fast for them. The heat is very good and doesn't get too hot at all as long as you keep it moving. The noise is fine when you have no attachments, but once you use them it can get very loud depending on your flow. If you have sensitive ears like me, it's better done outside or in a large room than a bathroom. It's very easy to lift and store without issue since every is detachable, including the hose.
