After spending several thousand dollars on furniture for our family and dining room I wanted something simple for the foyer.It was an inexpensive yet attractive way to add a small bench and storage space without breaking the budget.I know that it can handle at least 200lbs and up and it doesn't seem to have any issues.Assembly took about 20 minutes and although it required two people, one of them simply held the lid on the bench to avoid pinching the other's fingers. I would recommend this to anyone wanting extra, unobtrusive seating or storage.
