A well balanced $315 monitor that I had on sale. It was out of stock at the time so I had to wait almost a month for it to finally arrive. Pros: - Good OS and controls for tweaking settings and profiling - Good pixel density so the screen is a good size - Colors like ips are excellent. Response time is excellent when set to fast and ultra-fast, but not worth the artifact halos when set to extreme. Gorgeous colors make it easy to see and has good settings for adjusting darkness to make it easier to see. lots of ghosting - no speakers but not really a problem for gamers - mine came with a pixel that didn't work which is silly for the Alienwares part so it's green when it's on - lighting is good, mostly for those Power LED and the rear LED strip, but no white. The stand is well made and sturdy, but heavy and protrudes too far from the user. ips time for a color monitor, so by all means go for it.
