I'm not a small lady - dress size 20 inches many things . I bought this top in size 3X. Probably 2X would be big enough. I wear a swim bra underneath. I don't pull myself up or anything to cover myself like I did when wearing a regular swimsuit top. Although sometimes the bottom still shows up. But I really like this top. Exactly what I was looking for to swim comfortably and discreetly in the YMCA. As I said, I wear a swim bra underneath this shirt and wear "board shorts" (all Revain products). So happy with this purchase.
