Review on Mega Fun Learning with Melissa & Doug's Alphabet Wooden Puzzles by Ethan Delaney

Letters are fun! for stacking blocks

Beautiful quality alphabet *puzzle* that will appeal to lovers of natural wooden toys The background is raw/unvarnished wood, the letters are carved from a wooden board (good European quality. I've only seen on European puzzles) , the drawings are beautiful and look great on wooden letters. The puzzle is slightly larger than the standard Mellis and Doug puzzle (standard page size is around A4). That's about 1.5 times. Yes, you may have to answer many questions about the pictures that your baby finds difficult to understand. But this toy is a great conversation piece. I put *puzzle* in quotes because by the time the child is interested in letters (we are 2.5 years old) this is a very easy puzzle. This can be a plus as it allows the toddler to focus on the letters and pictures rather than the puzzle. I would buy this as a jigsaw puzzle for a younger toddler (18 months+) and use it later as letter learning material. I would appreciate if someone would convert this into a bilingual puzzle (English/Polish for us) where the images/objects depicted were chosen to represent a letter in both languages! In fact, some drawings already work this way while others don't. I chose this puzzle over the similar sound puzzle and am happy with this easier choice.
