This is an excellent little clear bin -- the only problem is you'll want 10 more!It's perfect for holding dry rice or beans. About 2 pounds dry fit in it easily -- it is much easier to measure out of the wide open lid than it is out of the box rice comes in, a bag, or a mason jar. Super easy to keep an eye on how much is left, too.It is BPA free. The blue seal is quite good, too -- I don't know if I'd use it to store something very prone to going stale, like crackers or chips, but it is definitely well sealed enough for dry goods like rice, beans, flour, dried fruit, and nuts. These stack up, too, making for a neat look in the pantry.
