I bought one of these sets and oddly my dad bought the same set for me for Christmas so I now have 2. It works fine and the mandrel is still straight after 10 pins were made . I have provided several photos. I'm new to pen rolling and really got into it. I mainly turn guts, vases, bowls and other small items and figured why not try pens. The included drill is a nice touch, as is the square drill and barrel trimmer. The live center works very well and there were no problems. I've found that I have vibration issues when using thick pen blanks like Bolivian Rosewood. The blank closest to the tailstock tends to vibrate quite a lot, but I just had to take it off and do one blank at a time, which is very important to me. This has not happened with some other forests, only with dense forests. I'm not sure why this is happening or how to fix it, but I can easily adjust it.
