My wife runs after dark and I insisted she wear something reflective. I was shocked that she actually agreed to wear this after I ordered it. Usually, my attempts at "control" result in taunts and eye rolls, followed by a short lecture on how a "man" has to get his foot off her neck. Being the only 'guy' in the house makes me a little worried because I know for a fact that I've never set foot on her throat, so I'm not sure what she's talking about. Anyway, the vest fits her and doesn't interfere with her walking, so she agreed to wear it while jogging. She did tell me, however, that the pioneer women didn't need safety vests on their westward walk on the Oregon Trail, and just because she wore a vest didn't mean she was any less tough than the pioneer women. . . I agreed.
