I am giving this product a positive review as it is the only one of the 4 TUDCA products I have purchased that passed the starch iodine test and had the expected hyper bitter taste. Dilute 1 g in water with the addition of iodine tincture. The absence of black/purple indicates the absence of strength. This does not mean that the product is pure TUDCA, but at least it must not contain any added rice flour or other common dilution ingredients. As other reviews note, the scoop only contains 250mg, not the 500mg listed on the package. The second photo confirms that the total net weight is accurate to within 25 grams BUT you will need to prepare two scoops if using the included scoop to achieve the listed serving size. Passing the strength test, combined with an intense bitter taste, is at least an indication of TUDCA. . I hope this review helps others who are struggling to find a TUDCA that isn't a waste of money.
