Great if the price is right

Stock price plus additional discount made this a worthwhile purchase especially when I wanted a spout that rotates 360 degrees instead of the existing fixed spout. A ceramic disc for the valve helps avoid problems with hard water residue as I only use a 5 year life cartridge for this faucet spout (and use this pre-filtered water in a steam still to get clean water). Used the adapter cap for the big holes and installation was easy but two people help install while the other tightens the mounting nut under the sink. In my case I used masking tape instead of having a second person do the leveling and when that wasn't enough I used a wood clamp and some more masking tape to hold the wood clamp in place while I tightened the water connector nut which could cause this causing the entire assembly to shift and mess up the alignment of the faucet handle. I didn't bother installing the plumbing because the old spout had the same connection arrangement except the inserts were brass and probably made a more secure connection. The spout rotates 360 degrees and I don't suffer after some mentioned the drip issue. The effect on the crank lever is pleasant. I found the neck of the spout a little wobbly and was able to move around, but other than that I don't see any problems. May I mention that the water line that feeds the house has a typical water pressure reducing valve (Zurn-Wilkins). set at 50psi compared to 120psi street pressure (120psi is great for fire hydrants but harsh on toilet, sink, shower and washing machine valves). Discounts since the brushed nickel seems to fit well and was about $15 I'm fine with that.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some bugs
