This guy works great! I had to cut some end caps for the Cumaru soundboard (Cumaru is a Brazilian hardwood that has a lifespan of over 50 years, but that's another story). I tried using a cylindrical cork cutter, but whether I cut fast or slow produced more smoke than cork, and when I made a cut it looked more like guinea pig dung than wooden cork. I took this one and it quickly ripped through 70+ corks and was just as sharp as it started. I was very impressed with this cork cutter but I would highly recommend it to you all. It's worth the price!
