I got this along with a set of countersinks from Snappy - I was able to countersink a couple of screws on the bottom of the serving board and then hide the holes with custom plugs. This worked fine for me. The plugs I cut were a little flimsy, but that could be due to an application error and low mileage on the drill. Not looking for a stealth fit, I was happy. This guy works great! I had to cut some end caps for the Cumaru soundboard (Cumaru is a Brazilian hardwood that has a lifespan of over 50 years, but that's another story). The first thing that struck me was that the surface was rough and didn't have the matt or semi-gloss sheen of other wire cutters I've had in the past (and it is on the photo). Little white hailstones stuck in the cracks, as if they hadn't been cleaned before packing. I'm wondering if the last step of the manufacturing process was skipped.
