Review on DEWALT 514013598 Fence Assembly by Jason Matthews

I recently purchased a 10 inch table saw with stand (DWE7491RS) and my fence arrived with a small notch. I ordered this fence as a replacement rather than trying to return such a large and heavy saw. It has arrived and is coming to the table, but it is of much worse quality. The fence is half the thickness of what comes with the saw, making it significantly lighter and less durable. The fence is attached to the brackets with two Phillips head screws that go right into the flimsy metal, which can cause the fence to dent and fall (mine came this way. The original fence didn't have bolts that go through the metal frame just through the fence, which prevents that. In short, it will work, but if you want the strength, squareness, and quality of what comes with the saw, this replacement won't work.
