As already mentioned, this article is defective. The valve tester is closed on BOTH sides. This is very bad! If you try to install this and end up checking it on both sides you will create tremendous pressure in the line as the CO2 will not flow through the valve. The release of that pressure scared the shit out of me pulling the hose out of the valve. Proceed with caution. Send this back along with your faulty CO2 on Monday. I wanted everything to work flawlessly in my first planted aquarium, but Aquatek has really let me down with two unsuccessful products. I will stay away from this company.
