It's not "real" gold, but I had it next to my massive 14k necklaces and you couldn't see it. I bought this because I'm traveling and don't want to worry about losing it and I wanted to have my baby with me :) The font is different which I liked, v looks like ab in my opinion, but it's just a font. Anyone familiar with this font will understand that it's V.Happy with it. Now I can sleep with it on and not worry about worrying about my solid gold stuff because real gold is expensive! This one looks like gold but it's not lol! But nobody will know. I used chain scissors to remove the extra chain to make it longer as I like short ones and I found it looked wrong.
