bought two, one has dead pixels in the middle. There's also something odd with the depth between the liquid image and the surface of the backlight. They have a much greater distance between them, so you get excessive shading when the light is coming from the front and you're looking at it from a different angle, which is very common. I have about 10 other 4x20 LCDs from different manufacturers. Suppliers and they are all the same, there is not a big gap between the picture and the backlight, so there is no shading of the picture.
