Given there are no instructions, I was left to figure this out on my own. It's simple enough. One piece on one side, the other on the opposing side. I placed them center of the wood frame along the edge. Too far. They wouldn't connect. I moved them to the outer edge. Still, not long enough. I cannot place them any closer to the edge so this was a waste of time and money. I wanted these as they are less obtrusive than the ones that attach to the inside between the sections as I have a MCM sectional and didnt want to make any holes in the tweed fabric. If the secure plate was an inch longer and the clamp and inch and half longer it would make it much sturdier and give many more options for placement.
