Review on Stunning Matte Black Hand Hammered Baxter Single Bowl Kitchen Bar Prep Sink by Monarch Abode 19192 by Ivan Carson

Budget, additional work is required.

I give 2 stars for this sink. One star because the price is very good. Second star because it looks really good, authentic; Rustic. However, if you are into DIY, be prepared to put in some extra effort. When I first dropped the sink into the hole, I knew it was waiting for me. He was swaying back and forth, not level with the pole. +/- 4 or 5mm. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the edge touching the post was anything but square and not straight. Very wavy. It took me a few hours with a blossom wheel and a grinder to get this square. The bowl was still rocking back and forth in the hole. Further measurements showed that the angles are not in one plane. Another 1 1/2 hours with the hammer and wagon and I was able to get it into acceptable shape. Where at least did not tremble. Check did it. The drain went smoothly. Then I installed a faucet. Probably the most disappointing part of this sink is the single tap hole area. The hole has fairly thin metal. In my opinion they should back it up with something to make it harder. I used a 1/2" x 4" piece of plank with a 1 1/4" hole drilled in it to stiffen it. Helped a bit. the bracket moves back and forth. I use this sink rarely so I think I can live with that. But I wouldn't use this sink in high traffic areas. The price and looks justified the purchase. I also have the tools and experience to do something like this. For those who do don't do this this is a bit crap maybe yours is clearer than mine good luck.
