Doesn't work in temperature and humidity

Finally tried using this and nothing works. I connected everything and nothing happened. I checked my outlet and even the switch box for power consumption. . I watched a few YouTube videos to make sure I was doing everything right and it only confirmed that there was no current flowing in this device.
