It was exactly what I was looking for to be able to wash cars in cold weather! If you have experience with DIY installations, installation is not a problem. The red pencil comes in a separate bag and is not installed for safety reasons. A removable safety key is provided for the hot water valve stem to prevent an accidental person or child from accidentally turning on the hot water as there is no protection against water burns on the faucet. This is a great security feature of this device. The hose bib is also easily removable so you can ensure the fitting is fully drained in winter. A slight incline is recommended to protect against frost. This is tricky when you have a vertical wall so I used some spacers between the bracket and the wall to get the downward slope and bolted the bracket to the wall. If you need hot water outside, this is the only way!
