Review on Kee Volcano Printers with All-Metal Extruder by Andrew Frison

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Worked to clog in 4 minutes for each print.

I know how to build a hot end properly and when I started getting clogs 4 minutes after printing I thought I had screwed something up and I immediately reworked my bowden cable, thermal break assembly , heater block and nozzle . I checked that everything is assembled correctly and that there are no obstacles. Everything looked great. I tried another print and got the same problems. After about 4 minutes I had a complete constipation. I think I rebuilt it a total of 5 times. I cut my Teflon tubing perfectly straight. I assembled with a hotend heated to printing temperature. I made sure there was a gap between the nozzle and the heater block to ensure the nozzle connected properly to the thermal break. Nothing fixed it until I switched to a titanium thermal break from a reputable clone maker at this mega online store in China. This thermal break had a polished interior and I believe that solved the problem. I believe the original thermal break was not fully polished. After installing the titanium block, everything worked perfectly. It's cheap, but you'll have to put in some effort to make it usable. This might work just fine if you've taken the time to polish the thermal break, but I'm tired of messing with it.
