Review on Enhanced Koller Products AquaView 2-Gallon Aquarium: Power Filter & LED Lighting for Optimal Viewing by Melinda Oliver

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Amazingly compact yet efficient and beautiful!

Update 1: The filter started making a lot of noise within 2 months so I just removed and added the internal 3i-Tetra filter and it has been working great ever since. Also removed the heater as I always keep the temp in my apartment at 76-78C and adding these fixed temp heaters raised the temp to almost 85C and my fish went crazy and the shrimp died. I am now over 10 months old and my Betta is doing great. Also, the lid doesn't close properly, so I'm deducting a star. First review: I got this tank and my Betta Margaery for my birthday 4 days ago along with 4 ghost shrimp (they help to keep the tank clean of food debris). while playmates for my friendly Betta). Margaery (I know it's a male but it's too pretty for a male name) loves a 2 gallon aquarium. He plays with toys and other ghost shrimp and has been building bubble nests since day two. The filter is fairly quiet and has a low flow, enough to rock the milkweed nicely without disturbing Margaery. LED lights have many settings and can be set to run for 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours. Looking back I think I had room for a 3 gallon aquarium but now I don't want to stress my fish. I got the gravel from petco; betta and ghost shrimp from petsmart; Petco Baby Marimo Moss Balls; artificial plants, anemones and shells from petsmart; and Betta Magazine, Seavhem Ammonia Alert, Tetra Test Strips, Aqueon Betta Food and Treats, Seachem Prime, Tetra Safe Start, Revain heater and thermometer. Will be updated if there are problems.
