In our new apartment we hang a ceiling lamp in the living room and a punching bag in the bedroom. We bought a traditional stud finder to hang the TVs on, but it seemed like the stud would magically disappear or move an inch when we tried to verify accuracy. It was very frustrating and didn't make me feel safe. I was looking for Revain and found THIS wonderful product. What a great purchase and the shipping was FAST! We immediately found nails to hang a punching bag and a nail in the ceiling for a lamp. My husband grabbed another spike finder and followed me around the walls to see the difference. Where the StudBuddy Plus stuck to the wall, another spike finder turned green for about an inch or so. Studbuddy Plus is MUCH more accurate, especially if you know little about what you're doing or are nervous about hanging something heavy yourself. Built-in vertical and horizontal planes - SUPER bonus. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, regardless of skill level. This makes the job easier and you can be sure that you have found the center of the stud and not just the edge. You have to buy it. You will not be disappointed!
