disc arrived well packaged and looked like new. After opening it to replace the circuit board, the first observations were that the inside of the drive looked like new, but one of the three screws holding the new circuit board to the drive was missing. This happened because one of the board supports/brackets was bent and the hole was misaligned. This was easily fixed with pliers. The original board was easy to reposition and there was enough solder on the old connections to allow for quick resoldering. The disc installed and the Xbox started without errors. However, this drive makes a nervous grinding noise when inserting and removing discs. However, in my case, the drive works and reads game discs with no errors. I do not recommend it for beginners in electronics and soldering. This is a perfect repair. Buyers, be careful if you get one and the results are the same, use digital downloads and only use the drive when absolutely necessary to reduce wear and tear as snoring is not a normal Xbox feature.
