I just wanted to put out this FYI for those trying to decide between G-4 vs G-5 sizes for 18 to 22-ish foot powerboats. After reading many of the reviews here and around the web, I bought these Fenders for my 2003 21 foot Bayliner Cuddy, and decided that the G-5 size was the best way to go. WRONG. Too damn fat! And I mean huge! I had no place to stow 'em! Yeah, if I was planning on spending the day on a log boom at the Hydro races with a boat on each side of me, I'd want 3 of these monsters on each side of my boat, otherwise, they're overkill. So, I sent 'em back and ordered 3 of the G-4 size in beautiful Cobalt Blue. For every day pulling up to a dock stuff and tying up to another boat in semi-calm water, the G-4's are perfect. And you can actually stow the things. Great quality. Great fender. Good price.
