Review on Kumho Road Venture M/T KL71 205/80 R16 104Q all season by Adam Koakowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

265/75 R16 tires (alloy wheel weighing about 36 kg) are mounted on the L 200 Triton. Diesel car, no elevator. On this rubber, I never sought assistance from anyone else before leaving ambush locations. Some examples will follow. A dried up puddle on a cave path in the middle of the forest. A mass with the consistency of plasticine can be found beneath the crust, which is located on top of the bulk. When the car is put in full drive, there is no progress in either direction (backward or forward), as it is stuck on the bridges. Using quick, sharp movements of the steering wheel to the right and left while simultaneously applying gas caused the vehicle to crawl forward and then go forward. Riding across the Hong Kong region at the beginning of May over a field that had NOT been plowed (muddy soil, clay in some spots, wetlands). Goes in any direction and bleeds up to 1 atmosphere while flattening out quite effectively. The repeated navigating of fords, puddles on loam, and sandy rises in the spring fields of the Hong Kong region were all challenges that needed to be surmounted. Rubber is running! When coupled with a diesel powertrain, I find it difficult to conceive of a more attractive alternative. In my perspective, there is no requirement for doing so. When driving on asphalt with rear-wheel drive, the vehicle does not act very confidently; at speeds of more over 60 miles per hour, the vehicle scours over irregularities. At full speed, things are much more enjoyable. Concerning the coupling qualities, the vehicle strangely came to a stop from 50 kilometers per hour "to the floor" while the ABS was crackling. Rubber proved to be unexpectedly effective in this situation. At speeds between 130 and 140 kilometers per hour on smooth, dry road, it is extremely pleasant and manageable. The end result is a very worthy conduct both in the mud and on the road, combined with a price that is attractive. Negative: balance issues when using huge wheel diameters.

Pros
  • Excellent ability to clean itself. On the asphalt, reasonable traction. Because it follows a directed pattern, there is always an opportunity to make your way back.
Cons
  • Unbalanced in a poor way. Noise, but that's a matter of opinion.
